Opening hours

In the season 2020 the castle is open from April 20 to November 1 2020 as well as in the winter season on all weekends in November and Dezember. 

Entry to the museum is only possible in conjunction with a guided tour.
 

Classical castle tour: Tueday to Sunday and on all public holidays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., start every hour (last tour at 4 p.m.)

Guided tour of the porcelain collection: Tuesday to Sunday and on all public holidays at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Fairytail tour for children: Every Tuesday at 2.45 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday and on all public holidays at 1.45 p.m. (recommended for children from 4 years).

Winter magic in Schloss Fasanerie: On all weekends in November and December hourly castle tours from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. (last tour at 5 p.m.). Fairytail tour for children every Sunday at 1.45 p.m. (recommended for children from 4 years).

For groups we offer all tours (see further tours here) by appointment also at other times and also out of season.  

The upper exhibition rooms are accessible by a wheelchair-accessible elevator. Mobile seating can be borrowed from the museum box office.
