We offer the following tours:
Classical castle tour
Guided tours of the baroque palace take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays. Every hour on the hour, we show youprincely home decor with precious furniture, chandeliers and the finest fabrics from two centuries. A tour of the castle takes you through impressive halls and living rooms and the library of Landgrave Marie.
Guided tour of the porcelain collection
A tour of the porcelain collection takes place every day at 12 noon and 3 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays. Schloss Fasanerie houses one of the largest privately owned porcelain collections. It includes courtly table services from the 18th and 19th centuries and figurative porcelain from the royal manufactories of Berlin, Meißen, Copenhagen and Sèvres.
Fairytale tour for children
Children explore the castle in a very special way. On Tuesdays at 2.45 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays at 1.45 p.m. you will be guided personally by the prince or princess through the stately rooms and learn in a playful way how the castle residents once lived. More information can be found here.
The castle park
The idyllic castle park, an English landscape park, can be visited all year round, in which there are artistic sculptures, wildly romantic natural corners, many old trees and winding paths to discover. Two pavilion buildings still bear witness to the glamorous splendor of the late Baroque era. The park is open every day, admission is free. Park tours are only possible for groups and by arragement. Please call or write to us.
